The Girl Scout of the Philippines at Don Carlos Village Elementary School celebrated the Girl Scout Week on September 16-22, 2018 with the theme “Unleashing Potentials, Igniting Change”. This is a great time to reflect on what it means to be a Girl Scout and all of the amazing thing’s Girl Scouts do to make the world a better place. They emphasize that we take the Girl Scout Promise seriously by reflecting upon the importance of faith. Celebrate by taking the time to connect with your beliefs and values, and learn about someone else’s.

DAY 1: THANKS GIVING DAY “ Understanding One’s Faith”

DAY 4: TROOP LEADER’S DAY ( Teacher’s Day ) “Si Tita ang Bida”

A teacher is a friend, philosopher, and guide who holds our hands, opens our mind, and touches our heart. The contribution of a teacher cannot be ignored at all. Teaching is the most influential job in the world. Teachers are known to shape the mind of youth and without knowledge no one can exist in this world. Teacher imparts good value in children and turn them into responsible citizens. Such a man of course requires a standing ovation. So to promote the values and principles of a true teacher, the Girl Scout of the Philippines at Don Carlos Village Elementary hold a Recognition Ceremony for active Troop Leaders.

 

DAY 6 & 7: GIRL’S  DAY/  FAMILY DAY

Family Day maybe a leisurely day off from work and school, but it’s meant to be an opportunity to reflect on the importance of spending quality time with our families, and feeling gratitude for the deep bonds and connections we share with one another. Family Day is a chance for us to make deeper connections with our loved ones.
