DCVES joins in the program of the Department of Education, through the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (DRRMC) of the schools division office of Pasay in preparation for natural calamities.

In line with this, a national simultaneous earthquake drill was conducted and practiced the preparedness of the school in preparation for the said calamity. The teaching and non teaching personnel and the learners partake in the said practice.

School organizations such as BERT (Batang Emergency Response Team) of SDRRMC, Red Cross Youth (RCY), Scouts (BSP and GSP) joins forces, recalled and practiced their expertise in handling possible scenarios that may arise.
